in person somatic sex education
below is a layout of a possible 10 session arc that we would be able to do together.
this is a format that is useful if there is nothing pertinent or immediate happening in your life. if there are big ticket items that are happening to or within you at the time of our appointment, my strong suggestion is that we put off this format and pay attention to what is real for you. however, i am providing this list as it may offer an insight as to how sessions may look and feel.
the primary agreement i ask you to participate in is: Do not do what you do not want to do.
which may seem uniquely challenging for some, and i will continuously navigate and check-in with you to re-affirm that you are, in fact, in control of what happens to you in this space.

4 Handed Massage // “The Offering” // immersion experiences
session #1
introductions
we begin with a thorough history, assessment, and an opportunity to feel into each other’s energy fields. this first session does not involve any touch. we will get clear on your goals and desires and I will offer you description of how this road map will support you in getting there.
session #2
wheel of consent
we will go through Dr. Betty Martin’s “Wheel of Consent” in order to arrive at a mutual understanding of how touch is navigated and understood within the context of this work - for you to know the importance of communicating your desires and when your boundaries are crossed. we may play a game to assess your comfort level of asking for what you want and how you feel about hearing or saying “no” and “yes”.
session #3
the three minute game
in this session we will begin to incorporate touch via the hands. we may play a game to assess and build your awareness of direct sensations of pleasure in your body, and then move to asking for specific kinds of touch you may want. at every opportunity you are celebrated in your No and we are ALWAYS able to re-orient to a different activity. we may move to incorporate another part of the body if you are feeling confident and comfortable.

full body invitation
following the pattern from the previous session we will start to invite the whole body into answering the question “how would you like to be touched?”
spending time breathing into this question allows for the body to begin to speak to you, and you for it.
we may practice a relaxation technique to support your body in sinking into a deep and coherent state.
if you are comfortable navigating this invitation fully clothed we may move into session no. 5
session #5
hello my body
this session is focused on your relationship to your body and inviting your whole self and all of the feelings and stories associated to your body into the space. i will invite you to share the story of your being with me, by undressing to your comfort level and inviting your nakedness and vulnerability into the space. why do we do this? oftentimes our body image is an obstruction as to how we receive and sink into pleasure. an opportunity to acknowledge all of the hang-ups or love or scars or history or fears, witnessed by a silent observer, is a powerful start in undoing the layers of concern about being naked and receiving touch.
following this, we may move into session no. 6
session #6
pleasure mapping
we move into mapping the terrain of your body and how it likes, loves and possibly hates to be touched. this is an opportunity to ask for what you want, and also to explore new sensations and touch that might ignite desires or pleasure in your body. sometimes we lack the language of touch experiences, and this session is here to support this navigation.
session #7
genital show and tell
as per the same idea as the “hello my body” session, this is session is focused on inviting in your genitals into the space. this will be an opportunity to be witnessed, to let me know how your refer to your genitals, to tell the story of them and all of the history that lives here, and to show how they might like to be touched. this is also an opportunity to learn more about your personal anatomy.
in this session it is likely we will move into some guided self-touch if it is feeling comfortable for you.

genital mapping
in this session we will begin pleasure mapping on your bits, specifically. this feels like an appropriate time to remind you, dear reader, that you are ALWAYS in control of what happens in session (as long as it is within the boundaries of our work together), so if this feels like too much, just remember we can go backwards or adjust this session to feel safer for you.
in this session the invitation is to feel my hands on you, in a very slow, mindful and present way. there is ongoing communication, connection, and noticing.
this session is often incredibly powerful for most people.
session #9
rosebud mapping
this one may feel particularly edgy to you or it may be right up your alley. as always, this session is always optional and you never have to do anything that isn’t a yes to you.
this session is an opportunity to explore external (and possibly internal) anal pleasure. similar to session no. 8, it is very slow, mindful and communicative.
many bodies have trauma in their assholes and this area of the body holds a lot on a day-to-day basis. this is an opportunity to rewire and reorient to slow and titrated pleasure.

er0tic massage dancing
this is an opportunity to invite all of the aspects of all previous sessions with a focus on movement, breath and sound. these elements of the body are three major ways to magnify and amplify pleasure in the body. as you ask for what you want, I will offer you prompts to wiggle your hips, to sigh, to breath into your belly. this session is “the conclusion” of this specific 10 session offering. there is no rule that says you can’t come back, or that you even have to get to this session. but moving forward sessions are invited to be ritualistic and pleasure-based. see session no. 11 for more details.

intentional pleasure rituals
perhaps there is something major happening in your life or your heart. maybe you want to do a session with a specific intention… eg. “to curate self-worth,” “to breath into building fuller and richer experiences of presence and mindfulness while receiving touch,” “to allow myself to feel pleasure as valuable in itself,” “to feel queer enough,” “to focus on finding alignment when in pleasure”…. whatever it may be, we will work on finding personal affirmations (or “iffirmations” eg… “what if i was enough” vs “i am enough”), perhaps pull a card from kim krans Archetypes deck, light a candle, do a meditation, and focus on imprinting these intentions with pleasure in your body.

Cosmo is a Certified Somatic Sex Educator and works with Pamela Madsen at Back to the Body: Sensuous Retreats for Women (2018 - Current).
“the offering”
a 2.5 hour session, with time to ground in, check in, get present, 2 hours of full-body touch, and time to come down, savour and imprint.
this type of session is for folks who are looking for care-taking, have some degree of embodiment, feel confident sinking into receiving.
immersion experiences
for folks who may not live in the area, this is an invitation to travel and spend 3 - 4 hours a day (for 2 - 5 days) working together. it replicates the layout of on-going work, but is condensed into a shorter time span. this style of working together will leave you impacted in a much greater and faster way, as you additionally won’t have the same demands of home, work, or family to manage while working together.
